Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students and part-time work. Lennox, while studying in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied with her performance compared to that of the other students. She began considering alternatives. Lennox was initially a flute-player with the group Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to her group being requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop band. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her solo debut album Diva. The album came out in 1992. Commercially and critically it was a huge hit. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The album is a companion to her album Now I Let you go... art installation, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independently-released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish musician and political activist. In the late 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international fame in the 1980s when they formed Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career by releasing her debut album Diva in 1992. It was the basis of many hits songs such as Walking through the Broken Glass. Medusa is a studio album, features the cover versions of some popular songs such as No More I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale.
